From hand-filled state forms to a single click: how AutoDocX standardized vehicle titling for an equipment lender

The Challenge

When an equipment finance company funds titled equipment such as trucks and trailers, it must be recorded as lienholder on the vehicle title. Every state has its own application form, layout and rules.
For a leading U.S. equipment finance company, this meant copying owner, vehicle and lienholder details by hand from invoices, certificates of origin (MSOs) and the lease system into the right state form. There was no digital record of what was prepared; forms were filled, printed and shipped one state at a time.

The dataCRaiM Solution

DataCRaiM connected AutoDocX directly to the client's lease management system: 

  • A “Generate Title PDF” button on the asset screen, so the team never leaves the system it already uses
  • Automatic selection of the correct state template based on where the asset is titled

  • A Microsoft Power Automate flow that passes asset data to AutoDocX and saves the finished PDF back to the deal
